1. About Turbo Hockey Pass
Turbo Hockey Pass ("we", "us", "our") is an online marketplace operated from Quebec, Canada that connects parents and players with independent hockey coaches and training organizations ("Coaches"). We provide the platform β Coaches independently deliver all training services.
By accessing or using hockeyturbo.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility & Age
You must be 14 years of age or older to create an account. If you are under 14, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account and provide express consent on your behalf. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement or that you are a parent/guardian providing consent for a child under 14.
3. Marketplace β Independent Coaches
Turbo Hockey Pass is a marketplace platform only. Coaches listed on the platform are independent service providers β not employees, agents, or contractors of Turbo Hockey Pass. We do not conduct background checks or credential verification on all coaches. Coaches with a green "Verified" badge have been reviewed by our team according to our internal process, but this does not constitute a guarantee of qualifications, certifications, or conduct.
We strongly recommend that parents independently verify coach qualifications, read reviews, and communicate directly with coaches before booking.
4. Bookings & Payments
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a booking, you agree to pay the listed price including any applicable fees. Turbo Hockey Pass charges a 20% platform fee on all bookings, plus Stripe processing fees (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 CAD per transaction). Coaches receive the remainder.
For online subscription purchases (Premium membership, featured coach plans, advertising), recurring billing terms, renewal, and cancellation conditions are disclosed at checkout and on your account settings page. You may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time through your account.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies vary by coach. Review the applicable cancellation policy displayed on the coach's profile and at checkout before completing your booking. Refunds, if applicable, are processed to your original payment method within 5β10 business days. Turbo Hockey Pass is not responsible for coach-imposed cancellation decisions.
6. Physical Activity & Assumption of Risk
Hockey training involves inherent physical risks including injury. By booking a session, you (or your parent/guardian) acknowledge these risks and take responsibility for participation. Turbo Hockey Pass is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or incidents occurring during or in connection with any training session. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for bodily injury caused by our own intentional or gross fault, as provided under applicable Quebec law.
We strongly recommend that all participants carry appropriate sports or health insurance coverage.
7. Crossbar Challenge Game
No purchase necessary. Free to enter and play. The Crossbar Challenge is a free skill-based game. Cash prizes or lesson credits earned through gameplay are based entirely on player skill and are not contingent on any purchase. For complete rules, eligibility, prize details, and redemption terms, see the Crossbar Challenge Official Rules.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; create multiple accounts or impersonate others; manipulate or cheat on any game mechanic; post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews; or interfere with platform operations. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We comply with applicable Canadian privacy legislation including Quebec Law 25.
10. Marketing Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, account notifications). Promotional communications are sent only with your separate, express consent as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (and subject to the limitations in Section 6), Turbo Hockey Pass shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from services provided by independent coaches. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
